Bluegate team has succesfully created the first traceability records of minerals on the new TraceChain TestNet.
TraceChain is a comprehensive Blockchain-as-a-Service (“BaaS”) platform offering diverse services including: product lifecycle management, supply chain process control, data deposit, data certification, and process certification.
The first tests include the basic traceability records of the mineral, from the Miner or producer, to the government validation, to the final certification by an independent authoritative certification body.
Bluegate TraceChain keeps full record of the process. Including identification of the miner, goverment license, trade license, tax registration and certificate of incorporation. It also includes specific geographical information, mine scans and maps. The product adds pictures, location, and full reports for the analysis of the mineral in a brass sample. Finally it uploads the certificate authority documents.
This first step represents a very important milestone in Madini’s objective of provide trust, transparency, and security to the African Minerals supply chain. This includes artisans and small-scale miners being part of our inclusive value chain that underpin human health, wellbeing, livelihoods, jobs and sustainable growth.
